Challenge:
Notion AI responds without any awareness of your existing workspace, notes, docs, past decisions. Every interaction starts from zero, making it feel generic rather than genuinely intelligent.
Solution:
Designed an opt-in memory system with page-level exclusion controls, attribution tags on every memory-assisted response, and an "Ignore my notes" override for failure handling. Delivered a 10-section PRD with RICE prioritization across 3 competing features, AI-specific considerations including privacy controls and confidence thresholds, a 6-week MVP scope, week-by-week rollout plan with a built-in kill condition, and a 10-screen interactive prototype in UX Pilot.
